Jo Armstead on work experience at Wythenshawe Hospital, makes major cystic fibrosis breakthrough

Newcastle University student Jo Armstead, 21, (pictured) discovered that half of adults who suffer from the rare genetic disorder are infected with a common fungus while working at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
