NYU's Langone Medical Center to get $1.1B for Hurricane Sandy repairs

The 'lump sum' was authorized by the Federal Emergency Management Agency for hospital repairs and to fortify the medical center against future storms, U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Tuesday.
