Knee operations are a 'waste of time' for many patients: Study finds there is 'little benefit'

New research has found many middle-aged patients in the UK with mild osteoarthritis get little, if any, benefit as a result of keyhole surgery after experts looked at how best to treat torn meniscus, part of the cartilage that helps stabilise the knee.
