Hearing loss speeds up brain shrinkage and could lead to dementia, researchers claim

Researchers at John Hopkins University, in Baltimore, and the National Institute of Ageing, say all people's brains shrink with age but the rate of shrinkage is quicker in people with hearing impairment.
